How long will it take to get my order?

All items that are in stock candles will be delivered within 3 working days of placing your order. If you chose next day delivery and order before 1pm, your order will be dispatched on the same day. Any orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched on the next working day.

What delivery options are available?

At KAJO we ship all goods via Hermes. Orders are processed Monday to Friday for £3.95 and are delivered within 2-5 working days. We offer free shipping for any orders over £75. We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days of being placed. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Please be aware that delivery times may be extended during certain busy periods (sale periods, holidays and Christmas). We will however always let you know if we are aware of any potential delay.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

YES! At KAJO we are proud to say that all of our products are 100% natural, cruelty-free and vegan friendly. A list of ingredients can be found with on each products page. In or candles with use 100% Soy Wax and pure essential oils and our soaps contain a medley of plant butters and pure essential oils.

Can I cancel or amend an order online?

Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel or amend it. When you recieve your good and you still wish to cancel, please return your order when recieved, in accordance with our returns policy.

Is the order process secure?

Yes! We understand how important security is to you. When you order online with us, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. Our site uses high level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently availble for online transactions.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

Orders cannot be placed for items that are out of stock. Products are not reserved until your order has been confirmed. You can fill in your details next to the item of stock that is out of stock and we will notify you when it is available.

Why is my candle not burning down properly?

This normally happens when the candle is burnt intermittently. To ensure an even burn, KAJO recommend that you burn the candle for 2-3 hours for the first time to ensure an even pool of wax.

What ingredients go into your candles and diffusers?

All of KAJO's products are 100% natural. We use 100% soy wax in all of our candles. Soy is a type of vegetable wax derived from soya beans. We chose to use this particular wax in our candles due to it being long lasting and producing a clean burn unlike regular wax candles. For the scents we use fragrance oils which are paraben free and not tested on animals.

What do I do with my empty glass jar?

KAJO encourage upcycling of candle vessels. To recycle or repurpose your jar, we recommend thoroughly cleansing it with your favorite dish soap or a 1:1 solution of water to vinegar. Your candle jar can then be reused as vases, storage containers, planters and more!


When you say 'natural soaps' how natural do you mean?

When we call our soap ‘natural’, what we mean is that all the ingredients we use to make it are natural. If it is derived from a plant, vegetable or mineral then its natural. At KAJO, we use olive oil (from the olive fruit) and shea butter (from the shea nut) in our soaps. All of our soaps are vegan and therefore no actual parts of animals (e.g. lard or cochineal) or animal by products (Milk/Honey) are present in any of our soaps. Did we mention all of our soaps are also free from palm oil?

Are your soaps suitable for both face & body?

When you think of soap, you think of the stuff your mother used to buy in when you were little, we never knew quite what was in there but it was definitely drying and stripping! Not at KAJO though! Our selection of handmade, cold pressed soaps are chemical free and full of natural ingredients. We believe that what we leave out of our products is as important as what we put in. Therefore we only use the finest quality ingredients which are organic and gentle to promote healthy skin

How can I prolong the shelf life of my soap?

To prolong the life of your soap we recommend the use of a soap holder which allows the air to circulate around it. This prevents the soap from sitting in water which in turn helps to shortern its life and melt the soap. As our soaps are scented with essential oils, the scent will dissipate over time. This does not mean that soaps will "go off", but over time may lose some of the potency of their scent.

I have really sensitive skin, can I use your soaps?

In terms of “irritants”, we all have our individual fingerprint of what our bodies can and can’t tolerate. Lavender essential oil, for example, is a known irritant to those with extreme sensitivities, however this doesn’t automatically black list it and make unsafe/non-organic or toxic. To be clear, none of our products are independently tested or classed as hypoallergenic nor being sold as “allergy free”.
