By using any part of this website, completing your customer registration with us and/or placing an order on the website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of products made by us to the buyer hereafter referred to as the “Customer”, “you” or “your”.
These terms and conditions and your use of the website are governed by English Law and you agree to submit the -exclusive jurisdiction of the English Court. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products & Packaging
Images of the products shown on our website are for illustrative purposes only. The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our website on occasion. Images may not be used without consent from KAJO By Design Ltd in advance.
Due to the artisanal handcrafted nature of our products and the fact they are 100% natural, please accept that there may be very slight variations in colour, size and shape. We create our candles, soaps and diffusers in small, highly controlled batches to ensure the very best results.
Online payments are made in a secure environment. Payments must be made in sterling and by credit or debit card or Clearpay.
Clearpay makes your monthly budgeting even easier by letting you spread the cost of your order over 4 interest- free instalments paid every 2 weeks.
Who can use Clearpay?
Customers over the age of 18.
Customers with a billing and delivery address registered in the UK.
When can Clearpay be used to place an order?
When placing an order between £25-800. When placing an order in GBP and on our UK website.
How do you pay with Clearpay?
When you get to the checkout, choose 'Clearpay' as the method of payment.
You’ll be redirected to the Clearpay portal where you’ll be asked to register with an email address and password. Once you've registered you won't need to do it again.
Make sure your details are correct - Clearpay use this information to keep you up to date on any payments or refunds that are due.
Please note, if you've paid using Clearpay, you won't be able to cancel your order once you've placed it. If you're not happy with your order when it arrives, please return it.
How does paying off instalments work?
You’ll be asked to pay the first of 4 instalments once you’re logged into the Clearpay Portal at checkout.
Instalments 2, 3 and 4 will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you selected at checkout every 2 weeks.
You'll receive a reminder from Clearpay 2 days before each instalment is collected.
If you miss a payment, simply log in to your App or online and click PAY NOW next to your "overdue payment". You'll have until 11pm the next day to make a missed payment before being charged any late fees.
Having trouble paying with Clearpay?
If you have any trouble placing an order with Clearpay, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
Clearpay may have rejected your application to pay on account. We'd recommend choosing another type of payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.
Clearpay may not have been able to check your details using the billing address that you've provided. You'll need to make sure that your billing address is the same address that your bank/credit cards are registered to.
You may have outstanding payments on previous Clearpay statements. Once these are paid off, try Clearpay again.
If you've recently paid off outstanding statements, please allow 24 hours before trying to pay through Clearpay again.
You may have missed a required field at the checkout, such as filling in your Date of Birth. If you haven't used Clearpay before and you're shipping to a different address to your billing address, the payment may be declined.
Just one more thing...
Clearpay are an independent payment provider and KAJO By Design Ltd have no influence over whether your payment will be accepted or not. If you have any trouble placing an order with Clearpay, please contact Clearpay Customer Service.
At KAJO, our orders are processed Monday to Friday via Hermes for just £3.95 delivered within 2 to 5 days.
We offer FREE UK standard delivery for all orders placed over £75
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 days of being placed. Please be noted that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays.)
Please be aware that delivery times may be extended during certain busy periods (sale periods, holidays and Christmas). We will however always let you know if we are aware of any potential delay.
Refunds & Returns
As product information is clearly described in each listing, KAJO By Design does not offer a refund due to change of mind.
At KAJO By Design, we would love for you to be happy with your purchases. Each product is inspected throughly before leaving our headquarters and candle and diffuser products are clearly marked with a 'Fragile' Sticker before posting.
If you should receive any damaged/faulty item(s), please keep all of the original packaging and products and notify us within 48 hours at email@example.com with your name, address, order number and details of the fault including photographic evidence. Due to the nature of some of our products, we are unable to accept exchanges on any soaps that have been used.
If KAJO believe that the item is faulty, we will proceed with either a replacement or a credit note in the form of an e-voucher.
The cost of returning all unwanted items are your responsibility, all returns should be securely packaged and sent to the following address:

The last date for Christmas orders is 21/12/21. Please be aware that we will be closing down for some well earned rest between 22/12/20- 04/01/21. During this time we will not be taking any orders. Any orders placed between this time will be processed when we re-open in the New Year on 04/01/2021.
The risk in the goods will pass to the customer on delivery. Our candles and diffusers all come with care instruction cards. This information can also be found on our website within the safety advice section of each product page.
